STAY IN VICTORIA AND SMELL THE FLOWERS – VICTORIA HISTORIC INNS’

 'GLORIOUS GARDENS PACKAGE'

The innkeepers of Victoria’s Historic Inns have teamed up with some of Victoria’s most famous gardens to offer guests a Glorious Gardens Package.

Spend two or more nights in Victoria at the inn of your choice and receive entry to three of the City’s iconic gardens: Butchart Gardens, Glendale Gardens and Abkhazi Gardens. Plus, take home a basket of complimentary gardener’s goodies.

The Butchart Gardens, a National Historic Site, is sure to put a spring in your step as you explore their awe inspiring setting, with their displays of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths in spring, the always amazing Sunken Garden and the summer rose garden. Glendale Gardens and Woodland at the Pacific Horticultural Centre boasts 43 hectares (106 acres) to explore, including a magnificent rhododendron garden and a serene Takata Japanese Garden. The exquisite Abkhazi Gardens, created in 1946 by Prince and Princess Abkhazi, invites an escape from modern life with its majestic trees and dramatic site. Each garden invites the visitor to leave behind the daily grind for a while and to succumb to a little spring fever.

The Glorious Gardens Package is available from April 15 to September 30, 2010.

Rates begin at $134.00 CAD per person in spring (April 15 – June 1) and $143.00 CAD per person in summer (June 15 - September 30), based on double occupancy. The package includes two nights’ accommodation, daily gourmet breakfast, entrance for two to three Victoria gardens and a takeaway gift of gardener’s goodies. Room rates vary for each inn.
