Good Timber - Songs and Stories of the Western Logger

Victoria's Historic Inns in partnership with Tourism Victoria is sponsoring a contest for an historic getaway to Victoria, BC to celebrate the multi-media musical revue, Good Timber – Songs and Stories of the Western Logger.

Enter your name for our contest to win a two night stay at one of Victoria's Historic Inns,   PLUS a $100 gift certificate Bon Rouge Bistro,   AND  two tickets for some of Victoria's top historic attractions, including: the Royal BC Museum, Butchart Gardens, Craigdarroch Castle  ;   AS WELL AS  two Big Bus Hop On Hop Off tickets to help you get around! Enjoy Good Timber at the Royal BC Museum from August 8th until August 27, 2011. Prizes must be used by April 30, 2012. Tickets for Big Bus are valid for the 2011 season. The service will continue until approximately mid October.

 This contest is limited to adults (18 years and over). Only one entry per person accepted. Gift vouchers for the 2 night stay and for Bon Rouge Bistro are not transferable. To ensure redemption, the Good Timber prizes should be used before April 30, 2012. Some restrictions may apply for reservation dates for the 2 night stay and for guest policies at individual inn. Tickets and vouchers are not redeemable for cash.

The talented Other Guys Theatre Company based their rollicking revue on the logger poetry of Robert E. Swanson, the Bard of the Woods. Their songs and stories are played against a multi-media backdrop of rarely-seen archival imagery from the time when loggers climbed trees. Good Timber – Songs and Stories of the Western Logger plays at the Royal BC Museum from August 8 - 27, 2011.
