Aaah, Victoria, British Columbia.  Sleepy little village, lost in the gentle mists of the West Coast Rain Forest.  Wrong!  Victoria’s Historic Inns is offering a Heart-Pounding Adventures package that will thrill you with the wonders of nature.   The seas around Victoria abound with killer whales, harbour seals, minke, gray and humpback whales.  And the majestic rain forests are rich with wildlife.  And adventure.  Imagine zipping through the forests at the tops of the trees.  It’s awe inspiring.

This Heart-Pounding Adventures package includes a 3 ½ hour whale watching tour with Eagle Wing Tours and we guarantee that you’ll see whales.  Then, take your pick of either a spectacular tree-top zip-line tour through a coastal rain forest or a more relaxing kayak tour along Victoria’s coast.   Both tours are fully guided.  Adrenaline’s zip-line tour is guaranteed to be 2 hours you will never forget.  Or, for those of you who would like to continue your adventure on the water instead of in the air, take a 2 hour guided kayak tour with Kelp Reef Adventures and explore Victoria’s scenic coastline and the surrounding inlets.  And remember that Victoria gets more sunshine than almost any other city in Canada! 

In addition to nature’s wild life, the city offers its own version in the form of a vibrant night life.  In the evening, when you want to kick back and let your heart beat get back to normal, enjoy one of Victoria’s great pubs, the Irish Times, Bard and Banker or Penny Farthing, each featuring live music nightly.   And then, at the end of the evening, if you happen to have a lager or 2 too many, don’t worry about it- we’ll pay the taxi home to your welcoming bed and breakfast inn.  This Heart Pounding Package is available from May 15 to October 31.  An extra night or an extra person can be added.  Please contact your Innkeeper for details and prices.
