Isn’t the New Year about diets and resolutions, you ask? Wrong! We figure New Year's Eve is a great time to treat yourself to a big meal. After all, if you’re going to strictly adhere to your New Year’s resolutions, you may as well indulge beforehand!

Pizzeria Primastrada

The town is abuzz with talk of Pizzeria Primastrada’s multi-course New Year’s Eve meal. The restaurant outdoes itself every New Year’s Eve with Italian culinary traditions, such as crostini with broccoli rabe, torta caprese and in-house cotechino sausage with lentils. Don’t forget to wear red underwear when you go—celebrating the New Year with a toast of prosecco while wearing red undies brings good luck! You’ll find these Italian New Year’s traditions at their Bridge Street location, but their Cook Street restaurant is also open New Year’s Eve. Call Bridge Street (250-590-4380) or Cook Street (250-590-8595) to make a reservation!
